Over a month after the premiere of diaphragm for piano alone was given by the wonderful and inimitable Michael Tan, I finally have a full audio recording of the piece, and I’ve also got some wonderful clips of the piece taken via iPhone camera. You’ll find both below. Having these recordings on hand is finally helping crystallize some of my thoughts about the piece and about the performance and what it all might mean for my practice moving forward; look out for a post discussing such in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy the recordings!
